BACKGROUND
Y BUY 4N was conceived in 1992 as a response to finding a lot of merchandise in all varieties of stores that were made in other countries. I didn't follow through with it then because there was a "Buy American" campaign as reported in the early 1990's by the San Francisco Chronicle and it looked like things were going to change. As history shows, it did change dramatically, but in the opposite direction, and the tremendous loss of jobs is devastating our country.

GOALS
The goal of the company is to promote American products, to encourage people to stop buying foreign products that put American workers out of work. Shine the spotlight on corporations that outsource jobs and pay little or no taxes.

The U.S. was the manufacturing GIANT of the world. It all started HERE, in Niagara Falls, NY. The first major alternating current power plant started on August 25, 1895. It was financed by Westinghouse and was developed by the inventor of alternating current, Nikola Tesla.

My relatives, along with thousands of others came to Niagara Falls for the jobs. The blue collar, pension plan, lifetime secure job. The beginning of the middle class manufacturing in America. The population would grow to over 100,000, but in the late 1950's the population peaked. These secure, stable factory jobs were lost to cheaper labor in the southern states of the country. Now the population of Niagara Falls is barely 50,000. Those jobs lost to the South were not cheap enough and the rest is history.

It all started in Niagara Falls, electricity, major manufacturing and even the outsourcing that has devastated our country. Congress can pass a law that says no more imports. It can all start here again. What do you think these corporations will do, go out of business?
